Martijn is first and foremost a seasoned transactional lawyer. He helps both multinationals and Dutch companies shape their (domestic or international) mergers and acquisitions, participations, joint ventures, commercial contracts and standard terms of business.<br \/>\nMartijn also regularly assists in restructuring and refinancing projects (including asset finance, loan finance and structured finance), bringing over 15 years of experience as an insolvency practitioner. Finally, Martijn has a robust litigation practice which focuses on corporate governance issues and disputes over contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Martijn has particular expertise in handling matters relating to e-commerce, business process outsourcing, payment services, procurement, IT and privacy. Because of his excellent contacts with law firms all over the world, Martijn is always able to promptly arrange state-of-the-art assistance in practically any jurisdiction whenever transactions or lawsuits have any cross-border aspects.<\/p>\n<p>Martijn has been an editor of Dutch professional journal Contracteren since its inception in 1999.
